What is vectorization?
Vectorization is the process of converting raster artwork, made of pixels, into vector artwork, made of paths, points and curves. Once artwork is vectorized, you can enlarge it to any size without blur. You can also edit shapes, change colors and prepare the file for printing, cutting, engraving or embroidery.
Businesses ask for vectorization when a printer rejects their logo, a sign maker needs a larger file, or a decorator needs clean artwork to start from.
Why vectorize your artwork
- Resolution independence: one file works for a business card or a billboard.
- Cleaner output: crisp edges on print, vinyl, screen printing and engraving.
- Editable shapes: every part of the design can be changed.
- Color control: colors are saved as swatches you can adjust.
- Professional presentation: clean artwork helps your brand look consistent everywhere.
Our vectorization approach
Software can trace an image automatically, but the result usually needs heavy cleanup. We rebuild artwork with care for the details that matter.
Clean curves
We use as few anchor points as needed so curves are smooth and easy to edit.
Sharp corners and straight lines
Lines that should be straight stay straight. Corners stay crisp.
Accurate lettering
Text is rebuilt carefully. If you know the font, tell us. If not, we match the letter shapes as closely as possible.
Organized files
Shapes are grouped logically, so your designer or printer can find and edit each part. Colors are kept as clean swatches.
